Calculative information is taken from The Royal Observatory, Greenwich and The Sahara Sky Observatory, Morocco, which is then corroborated with reports of the actual sighting of the crescent by Chief Qadhi (Judges), the national observational representatives for local countries such as Morocco, Kenya and South Africa. The LFC endorses the actual, naked eye, witnessing of the crescent between 5 – 15 minutes after the sun has set.
