What are the Sunnan (Sunnah elements) of wudu?

The Answer;
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
The fourteen Sunnan of wudu, in accordance to Imam Abu Hanifa(ra) are as follows;
- Making intention
- Recited the Basmallah. If it is read before making wudu, the angels will write good deeds for him as long as one is in the state of wudu. (Majma’uz-Zawaid, pp. 513, vol. 1, Hadith 1112)
- Washing both hands up to the wrists three times
- Using miswak three times
- Rinsing the mouth three times using three handfuls of water
- Gargling, if not in the state of fasting
- Sniffing water into the nose three times using three half handfuls of water
- Doing Khilal of the beard (when not in the state of Ihram)
- Doing Khilal of the fingers
- Doing Khilal of toes
- Moistening the whole head, only once
- Moistening the ears
- Maintaining the order of the Faraid (i.e. washing the face first, then the arms, then wiping the head and then washing the feet)
- Washing the next part before the previously washed part dries. (Bahare-Sharī’at, pp. 293, 294, vol. 1)
