It is with great pride we announce that earlier this week respected Shaykh was awarded the Brent Mayors Award in recognition of services to the community and in particular for setting up London Fatwa Council and helping women suffering in forced marriages and from domestic abuse.
Mayor of Brent, Councillor Parvez Ahmed presented respected Shaykh with the prestigious award at the Brent Civic Centre joined by other outstanding community members and members of Brent Council.
London Fatwa Council would like to thank the honourable Mayor for his recognition of our dear Shaykh and indeed his continued support of London Fatwa Council.
